I have worked on photography since the age of twelve. Growing up, I was raised around technology, and was inspired by my father. As a family, I would take various vacations, my father would place a camera, digital or video, in my hands and label me "family vacation director". So at age twelve, I decided to take advantage of the technology around me and would ask the help of my little sisters as models. All on my own, I worked on make-up, attire, sets, lighting, anything I needed to make my vision come to life.
My father, Stanley Ferrell, is a graphics designer, but his hobby was filmmaking. Seeing that I had a creative eye, and was digitally native to my surroundings, he would help me understand the technology I was wanting to work with. Occasionally I would ask questions about software, and being her father, the graphics designer, he new all of the software I needed.
At age fifteen, I had picked up writing. looking threw an educational magazine, my older sister had come across an article about Full Sail University. Researching the school, I realized, this is the school I want to attend. At age eighteen, she was given a Full Sail badge, engraved student, majoring in Film.
