Tom Van Horn

Tom Van Horn started performing stand-up back in 1993 after his girlfriend of nine years dumped him. Having a lot of anger and bitterness and nowhere to vent it, he started going to open mics and spewing his feelings about his life to a room full of strangers. And so another comic is born! Hey, it was cheaper than going to therapy. He soon began working frequently at New York venues such as The Comic Strip, Stand-up NY, Dangerfield’s, Gotham Comedy Club and The Comedy Cellar.

With his sarcastic wit and broad comedic observations on the absurdities of life, he can go from marriage, fatherhood and a day at Chuck e Cheese to politics, sex and suicide bombers. All delivered in a clean, smart way that makes him a perfect act for any audience. When not headlining on the road he can be found trying to survive being a husband and dad to his wife and two boys.

He has appeared on Last Comic Standing 3 (NY Semifinalist), E! Entertainment Television, Fox News “Red Eye” and has performed at the Boston Comedy Festival, The NY Underground Comedy Festival and the Nantucket Comedy Festival.
