As a fan of film and theatre, Kevin D. Rice took theatre class in high school and was formally trained at John Robert Powers Talent Development School, which aided him in several successful auditions in theatre. At age 18 Kevin joined the United States Army. Throughout his 17-year commitment he as joined local community theaters around the continental United States. He has worked as an extra in 1 feature film and has been in several different plays effectively expanding his skill level.
Kevin had to put acting to the side as he was then deployed to Iraqi to serve his country in war as a combat medical specialist (Combat Medic/EMT). Since his return he has grown a greater love for the film and arts industry thus working on several projects as a freelance photographer and videographer. He has currently produced one short film and is in pre-production stages of another. Kevin has also hosted several professional functions while active in the Army such as military balls, professional command dinners, and Operation Rising Star, a talent search to be aired on television.
Kevin D. Rice was born and raised in a Chicago South Side community. He loves writing and performing spoken word poetry, performing at open MIC comedy events, shooting pool, working out, and enjoying the company of friends. Oh and Acting. Kevin is currently joining the Army Reserves as a Staff Sergeant
