When a strange, perpectual nightfall descends upon the earth, a small group of survivors must battle supernatural forces in a small, Midwestern town. Mysterious cloaked figures, known as wraiths, invade the small town and begin to wreck havoc. With the ability to drift through solid objects, the wraiths begin abducting anyone caught in the darkness. The only thing that keeps these otherworldly creatures at bay is light, which is becoming increasingly scarce as bulbs burn out and batteries drain dead. As modern science is left baffled and scrambling for answers, Corben finds himself trapped in a house with three other survivors. However, they have very different ideas about what is best for the group and begin to compete for leadership. When things are said and sides are taken, the foursome soon discover that their real enemies are not outside trying to get in, but inside standing right in front of them.
