The Majestic
2009 to Present
A 21ft control room on wheels outfitted with a blend of Brian’s handmade, altered audio devices and state of the art equipment travels the streets of Los Angeles in search of unique sounds and songs. This unique tools helps Brian collaborate with artists from music, games, media and beyond. Recent releases include: Yellow Face (Film), Slightly Stoopid - Top of the World (dub mixes with Scientist), David Hillyard - California, The Expanders - Old Time Something Come Back Again, Angel City Records - A New Dimension in Soul and Reggae, Arise Roots - Lay Your Guns Down, The Slackers - My Bed is a Boat, and Western Standard Time - A Big Band Tribute to the Skatalites.

Part of a dynamic team of forward thinking designers and entrepreneurs who developed a personal subwoofer device that directly transmits low frequencies to your body. This new studio tool has been adopted by the top audio production schools, music producers, and artists across the world. Brian is focused on facilitating partnerships with producers, artists, and academic institutions to bring tactile sound to its full potential for use in creating and enjoying sound.


LA Film School
2011 to Present - Film Sound Department
Course Director RFP1 - Recording Final Project. Developing all curriculum and overseeing a small team of five Lab Instructors teaching 11 sections of the class. This is the penultimate class in the recording program where students are challenged in a group setting to complete post-production audio work on a film project. Advanced post-production techniques are practiced including surround sound mixing, ICON console operation, and extensive field, foley and ADR recording.
Other school duties include development of course manuals and collaborating with other instructors on connecting course material across the program.

A world class recording studio carved out of an abandoned post office was host to many local and international projects. Major works include The Debonaires - Long Shout, Westbound Train - Transitions, The Adventures of Donkey Ollie (Film), Halfway Decent - Ernie Hudson (Film), Motograter - A New Breed, Daniel Whittington - Taking You Home, Monkey - Cruel Tutelage and Lost at Sea.

Office and Production Work
Worked in a team who built our Los Angeles Jazz, News and Blues format up to the Number 1 Arbitron rated Jazz station in the United States.
Provided daily customer service to KLON members seeking information, print, and internet media.
Developed and implemented concert promotions (Long Beach Blues Festival), early versions of Internet Radio, and international broadcasts (EuroJazz). Able to work and provide support effortlessly in an ever-changing, creative environment. Brian worked closely with Chuck Niles and such luminaries as James Brown and Gerry Mulligan among many outstanding artists by creating weekly recorded soundbites, interviews and on air performances.

Atascadero High School
August 1998 to 2004
Director of Instrumental Music
Under the unique directing style of Mr. Wallace the small town of Atascadero became a hotbed of talent. Productions included many Wallace originals along with: Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Song of Singapore, A Shayna Maidel, The Diviners, and Guys and Dolls. This successful program grew to 125 yearly students with many continuing in the music industry and education fields. Brian pioneered many school/technology programs including two school FM radio stations, Recording Technology Classes, and the creation of the Atascadero Fine Arts Academy, an award winning 4th - 8th grade public school that approaches academic subjects through the arts.
