Hi All!
I'm one of thousands enjoying the art of acting for either stage or screen. I've had a passion for performing since childhood but only aspired to acting when I was in secondary school (High School to those of you from across the pond!) I come from a stage background, my grandmother was a stage actress in Edinburgh and my father was a comedian/magician. I became professional only three years ago after enjoying years on the AmDram circuit. I thought to myself, if I'm going to do it now is as good a time as any. I am now one of many 'actresses of a certain age' working hard against the obstacles. I also enjoy writing and have two scripts already in pre-production so I'm happy to say I'm climbing the ladder and realising a lifelong dream.

My daughter said to me recently,' Mum, how long are you going to do this for?'
To which my reply was, 'However long I grace this earth for, darling'
