About Gaetano

I was born in the island of Ischia (Naples), I'm a professional filmaker who works as a cameraman, editor and director. I got an editing diploma at Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia of Rome in 1994, then graduated with a degree in Modern Foreign Literature and Languages (English and Spanish) from the Orientale University of Naples with a thesis on Cinema History: “Two Extreme Periods of Italian Cinema: the ’60s-’70s and the ’80s-‘90s”.
As a director, I made short and medium length movies, documentaries and my first film in 2009, “Spirits Like Us”. Since 2006 I have been collaborating with the TV program REPORT which is broadcast on the Italian State TV Station RAI 3.
