Here's a short clip from Rebecca Gold, paired with the music Neil Myers composed for the film. I was genuinely thrilled with what Neil brought to it. Film music should add emotion, not just fill space. Too often these days it's treated like background noise.
Having an actress who understands the fundamentals of fake fighting is a godsend on a micro-budget film. Being able to sell the physicality convincingly makes a huge difference on screen. Ella was exactly that. She could throw punches and kicks properly, which meant we didn't need a stunt double.
