About Richard

Richard Brandes is a producer, director, and writer of over 30 feature films as well as commercials, music videos, and documentaries. Originally from Atlanta, GA, Richard is a graduate of UC Berkeley and is known for such films as My Daughter Was Stolen (2018), Jeepers Creepers 3 (2017), Ugly Benny (2014), Penny Dreadful (2006), Out for Blood (2004) and Dead Cold (1995). Most recently, Richard wrote and is producing the action feature film, Tin Soldiers, which is in pre production and slated for a 2023 release.

Art himself is the traumatized son of a prostitute, abandoned by the father, who had to watch his mother 'working' and got beaten, as if responsible, whenever her 'clients' hit her. 'Adam' seems to work out as Mike's substitute father, smacking him at worst, but their past starts catching up and Art being seen in action as Kate's lover poisons the triangle dramatically. Debbie kills her grandmother's dog and beats her grandmother to death with her cane after she reads her diary and tells her she's putting her in a reform school. Debbie also eyes one of her new teachers, Mr. Rinaldi. After learning that he has a girlfriend, she deletes her messages on his answering machine and tries to kill her so she can have Mr. Rinaldi to herself.
