SYNOPSIS:

In 1989, twenty-five year old DANNY and his pregnant wife JANET were racing to a hospital in Yuma. Contractions minutes apart, Janet was about to give birth to their second child, a son, when Danny lost control of the car through a construction zone. It was that hot and sticky afternoon on Hwy 8 when Danny was killed. A US Marshall, BURT, assigned to watch the Temple family was on the scene within minutes. With Danny dead and little hope for Janet or her unborn child, the Marshall attended to the only survivor. EVE, a 2-year-old girl with a head wound. The Marshall took the baby and a leather satchel from the wreckage. But before he left, the workers said something remarkable happened. The girl’s wounds healed over... in seconds. GENERATIONS is the story of that girl, now in her 20’s, and her protector Burt. Eve has a gift. She has the ability to heal herself and others with the touch of her hand. Because of that, Eve is a wanted woman and has been since she was born. She’s wanted by the military to heal wounded soldiers. The CIA and FBI want her to save operatives around the world. The faithful follow her because she might be the Messiah, which means the Vatican has ordered a full investigation. The AMA wants answers and organized crime wants her because she’s worth a shitload of money. Armed with years of special ops training, a decrepit RV and a secret of his own, Burt will stop at nothing to protect her from everyone. Which includes himself because keeping a 70 year old man and a 24 year old woman living together 24/7, from killing each other is not going to be difficult, it’s going to be impossible. A 21st century woman meets a 19th century old school mule. Pounding the highways in the RV to stay one step ahead as they work tirelessly to find her brother, they never stop moving. But life on the run is only half the story as they cross paths with people who desperately need her help. A child who needs a liver or a veteran who lost his hands serving his country. But people are rarely what they seem. For Eve, her healings will be rare and measured. Because every time she uses her gift, it takes a little piece of her soul and her life. As we learn more about these two kindred spirits, Burt and Eve, we’ll grow to understand and love them. What it is that separates people, what drives people and where is the line between doing good and being good. Where did she come from? How did she survive her first 20 years of life? Why has this man devoted his life to keeping her safe and what does the future hold for a woman who can help the deaf hear, the blind see and make the limbless whole?
