Margaret worked for many years as an actress in New York and Washington DC. Her acting credits include leading roles in Shakespeare, Greek tragedies, dramatic and experimental works from new playwrights, comic and dramatic roles on the screen, as well as many professional singing engagements. In 2003, she formed Baby Lion Productions, and wrote, produced and edited the feature film, 'independence.' ()
Since then, she has produced, directed and edited both narrative and documentary projects and taught acting, film production and post-production at Colorado Film School and Regis University.
She recently published the book, "Sanity in Acting: the teachings of Galina Boulgakova, a Stanislavski-based approach to acting for the screen" which is available at .
Margaret holds an MFA in Acting from Western Illinois University as well as a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Music Performance and Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Hastings College.
