Chris Corey has been infatuated with film since seeing a double feature of Raiders of the Lost Ark and Star Wars at the age of 6. From an early age, Chris would try and figure out how Hollywood accomplished those amazing visual effects and enjoyed the "making of" featurettes almost as much as the films they were about. In high school, Chris began writing screenplays and has written several to date, further enhancing his craft with each successive script.
Ten years ago, Chris began his journey into digital film-making as technology became more readily available to the average consumer. From 2004-2009, Chris wrote and directed several short films, his second short film was an official selection in the WYSIWYG Film Festival in San Francisco in 2007.
In 2009, Chris wrote and directed his first feature film entitled "Hollow." It was made for an extremely modest budget with a cast and crew of all volunteers. Not long after the film was premiered to cast and crew it was picked up by a distribution company for national and international distribution. Since then, Chris has been a location manager on another film entitled "Rogue Saints," has helped develop creative content for Healing the Culture, composed the musical score for two short films and has began working with businesses and local organizations in developing commercials and digital film presentations.
Chris has recently completed another short film, entitled "Displacement," which will be entered into the Seattle International Film Festival for consideration.
