About Nicolas

Nicolas Fagerberg was born in the dark wilderness of southern Sweden. Struggling to survive in a land where the sun only shines once a year, his love for acting began as a child when he would reenact films with his siblings. His favourite role....Simba from The Lion King. Fast forward until 2012 when he traveled far and wide, ending up in the land of America and subsequently graduating from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in 2013. Since washing ashore on the sandy beaches of California, Nicolas has been in a myriad of plays including "Terra Nova" in which he shined as the legendary Norwegian explorer Roald Amundsen, as well as a world premiere of "The Relationship Play" for the 2012 Fringe Festival.

Since embarking on his film career in 2013, he has been in over seven short films, two television pilots, a web series and in August he´s set to shoot his first leading performance in a feature film.

One of his first on-screen performances was as Dr. William Wanger for the short comedy film "The Wanger Files" produced, written and directed by television writers Terri Treas and Michael Zand. Nicolas also starred as Tom Baxter in the comedy "To Be Delivered" directed by Pierre Amstutz Roch. Thus far it has won Best International Film at the Los Angeles Movie Awards, been selected for the California International Film Festival, California Independent Film Festival, Off Courts in Trouville, France, Fenêtre Sur Courts Festival in Dijon, France, Festival Européen du Film Court in Brest, France, the Los Angeles Swiss Film Festival, Carmel International Film Festival, California, International Film Festival of Cinematic Arts - IFFCA Los Angeles and Festival du court-métrage de Fontainebleau, France. Shortly thereafter, Nicolas went on to land the lead role of depressed alcoholic writer Jack Perdu in the 2014 Bare Bones Film Festival nominee for best dramatic short, "Sad Writers".

Nicolas' wide acting range and trilinguist ability (English, Swedish and French) has allowed him to be cast as a variety of fascinating characters. Nicolas is also a prolific musician and songwriter and grew up playing in several multi-genre bands.

Nicolas has a very close working relationship with his acting coaches Sharon Chatten, Peter Budevski and Michele Gossett. Not knowing where his next role might take him, he's enjoying the challenges life's throwing at him.
