When I was a child I was always staging silly performances for friends and relatives. That love for film and dramatic arts in general hasn't got away and nor has the silliness of my performances.
After I finished high-school, I studied Filmmaking in Greece (BA) and then Screenwriting in London (MA) and although I still haven't mastered the art of ironing my clothes, I recognize a turning point when I see one.
When I was younger, I was dreaming of Oscars, but as we get older we become realistic, so I'm willing to compromise for a Golden Globe. Seriously though, my biggest ambition is to be able to make films and TV series. As many as I can for as long as I can. I don't care about the Golden Globes. Who does?
I have written and directed numerous short films and I have written many short and feature screenplays. My short script "What Went Wrong" had won a funding award by the Greek Film Centre. My spec-script "Infection" made it to the "5% stage" of the BBC writersroom competition 2014, while my tv pilot script "Couples" was shortlisted to the 10 finalists for the Sir Peter Ustinov Award.
