I am a writer from Toronto, Canada specializing in television sitcoms and feature-length comedies / dramas.
I was born in India but grew up in Canada, with several generations under one roof.
My writing style grew out of the diversity to which I was exposed and as such, my characters typically reflect a wide spectrum of ages and cultural backgrounds.
My most recent work is a feature-length comedic drama called "Touching Untouchable." Although fictional, it was inspired by my cousin, a semi-retired doctor in India who has devoted his life to treating the poorest of people in the region, the so-called ‘untouchables.’ This story pays homage to him and others like him; those who seek to help the helpless... to touch the untouchable.
