Roni Wheeler

A former Advertising Representative, I was elected the first Black woman to Chair the Directors Guild of America's, AD/UPM Council, East. An AD for many years, recently my activities include the Producers Guild of America more often than not. A member of the Producers Council, I was the Founding Chair of the Diversity Committee and partner with Nelle Nugent in establishing the Annual New Member Mixers on the east coast. Currently I am producing a documentary on the early days of Jazz and still teach Line Producing at the School of Visual Arts.
