Cherie Roberts

Cherie A. Roberts is a collaborative theater artist, with a background in classical ballet and a focus on creating and stimulating new work. In recent years, Cherie has vacillated between New York City and Philadelphia, performing everywhere from off-Broadway to the Philadelphia Fringe and Spark Festivals. She currently lives in New Orleans, LA, where she has been exploring the vibrant Film and Television industry. Cherie graduated from Temple University's Theater Department in 2002, and from there attended American Repertory Theater's summer program, whose instructors invited her to move to Moscow, Russia to begin her master's degree in a unique curriculum called Stage Movement. She has 20 years of classical ballet training, along with many other forms of dance, and has also studied rhythmics, fencing, yoga, and Pilate's. In addition, Cherie has over ten years of training on the flute and the piano, and is also an experienced visual artist.
