About Matt

I'm a filmmaker, business owner, design artist and photographer. Ok I wear a lot of hats (both figuratively and literally) but you need to these days.

My business RebelMM-Design Photo Media primarily does live events such as weddings, band performances and fashion shows.

RebelMM started with photography despite always having an interest in film, I changed the business goals a year or so ago due to high market demand locally. Needless to say, I was happy to do so, and have worked on projects from Central Wisconsin to Minneapolis Fashion week.

I have a degree in Web Development, and also offer graphic design, web development, social media marketing, and motion graphics.

I am hoping to branch out to do more commercial work and hopefully film production projects in the future. However first I will need to build a crew. As of current its just me and my wife running the business. Yes, sounds dubious however I do my best to adhere to industry standards in all areas.

I invested in all my own equipment, Arri lights, rigs, Raw Cinema Cameras and most recently the DJI Ronin.

Unique traits: If something needs to be done, I can pick it up and do it. If research needs to be done, I research thoroughly. This is how I've learned Film Production, Photography and Graphic Design, Sound Recording, all of my skills seeing as there are no schools for those things locally. Didn't have the opportunity when I was out of High School so I made my own. I also realize I'm not old (yet) however due to an injury back in 2008, that left me disabled, the typical career film path is closed to me. That being said, making it work the best I can. Give me an idea and there is no box or IRS bigger than you thought. I can take it and I can run as I have been since the start.
