Katia Beckett

My name is Katia Beckett. I am from Moscow, Russia and now I live in Charlotte, NC.
I have two degrees, one as a Choir Conductor and Music Teacher and the other as a TV producer.
I have six years experience working in the Television and Documentary Film Industry. I have held the positions of executive producer, program director, and also have worked with sponsors and music copyrights.
I made documentaries for TV channels, for the Government of Moscow, for UNICEF, and with the Russian Navy. I also worked on big TV shows for the main TV channels in Russia such as their version of "Dancing with the Stars".
I`m interested in continuing working in this industry in America and even trying something different. I already have some experience as a 1st Assistant Director/Camera Operator for the movie "FORK" for 45th Parallel Productions in Traverse City, MI, where I lived last year.
So I am here to find some opportunities and projects where I can use my skills and develop new ones.
