Hello everyone! I am a high school theatre teacher from North Carolina, USA. I've been teaching theatre for the past three years, and I have been involved in theatre since I was 6. Before teaching, I worked as an actress, singer, and stage manager. I earned by BFA in Theatre in 2012. I'm now teaching, which is where my passion is, in a small town where most kids aren't exposed to any kind of theatre or performing art. It's a challenge, but I really love watching these kids have their lives completely altered by their participation in the theatre. I've noticed there aren't many teachers on here, so I hope I'm not out of place :) Hope you're all doing well!

Hello to everyone in the Stage 32 Community. My name is Ross Campbell Somerville. I have been on here for just over a week now and I have to say I am loving it. I have made quite a few connections already and am excited to explore the opportunities that Stage 32 and its members have to offer. A bit about myself, I am a Scottish guy from around the town of St Andrews in the Kingdom of Fife (that is the real name of the county btw). I am currently a lab technician within the Earth Sciences dept. at the University of St Andrews but I am keen to get my writing career off and running. I have been writing off and on for a while now, never seeing it as more than a hobby or pastime. However, with over 13 feature length screenplay projects, several shorts, a few tv projects, several novels and short stories, all in various stages of completion, I feel it is time to get this shoe on the road. I'm primarily looking for networking at the moment but once I get my work registered, I will be looking for a manager and agent to help me progress into the business and get my work out there. I am keen to hear from anyone who is interested in helping a new writer find his feet in the slippery world that we inhabit. Pleased to meet you all, Ross
