This was a composition assignment in which we had to take some old material and make a new composition out of it. I decided to take samples from a rap a capella from Kool G Rap's "Ill Street Blues," a bargain bin polka record called "Real Hot Polkas," a Wes Montgomery recording of "Nica's Dream," by Horace Silver, and the drum loop from "This Too Shall Pass," by OK Go. It's basically a dark ambient song with all the source material put into a blender. It's not stealing, I swear. I think...

Going Home

Here's another assignment. This one is a story about a person who, while walking back to his apartment from a music store, gets sucked into a wormhole inside the elevator and is brought into hell. I recorded everything, and designed all the sounds. No need to cite things here.
