When a high school geek takes theater classes in the hopes of landing his dream girl, he befriends a Goth chick, and is then torn as he watches them compete for his affections in a musical that's full of drama, comedy... and anime dreaming.

SYNOPSIS:

Geeky and shy, Simon has always dreamed of being with the ever so popular Becky. So when he finds out that she's slotted as the lead in the high school play, he tries out too, and runs headlong into stage fright. Not giving up, Simon treks into Boston for acting lessons, where he meets a rebellious Goth chick, Sya, who jealously teaches him the ropes of both life and love. So when he's given another chance to act in the high school play, he takes it and earns Becky's admiration, and kiss. Now overly confident, Simon mistakenly pulls a prank that completely backfires, and can only watch as Becky and Sya square off, live on stage, in a competition that combines 'The Voice' and 'Dancing with the Stars', with teenage romantic drama, in a winner-take-all musical.
