About Carl

I have an associates degree in Electronic Technology and another associates degree in Telecommunications. Music, the accurate reproduction of sound, and anything to do with electrcity and engines have been hobbies and of interest to me ever since before I was a teenager.

I played trumpet in grade school and high school.

Two friends and I started a venture back in the early 1980s doing a great deal of heavy duty research and development work with the goal of developing a speaker system that would produce true to life sound quality reproduction. A 3 way partnership began in this venture. It has been within the past few years that we finally succeeded in meeting this challenge.

Even the professional musicians can not tell any difference from the prerecorded music coming out of our speaker systems in comparison to live acoustical instruments, live percussion, and vocals. When watching a movie where canons and big explosions go off, our speaker systems make you feel like you are right in the middle of the action. They not only sound like the real thing, but you also feel the concussion from them going off.

When listening to one of our speaker systems, each voice stands out very distinctly by itself and each voice has a 3 dimensional quality to it, just like you were there experiencing it in person at a live performance. We are building home theater surround sound systems. I have a mobile demo system set up in my car, which does not sound anything like a typical car stereo system. Instead, people are looking around for the live band playing.

To fully comprehend what we have achieved it is the kind of thing that a person has to experience for them self. To try to describe exactly what all one of our systems sound like with words is like trying to describe colors to a blind man who has never seen colors before, because there is nothing else to compare it to. It is in a class totally by itself.

We have just completed our complete line of prototype production models, which we are hoping to be manufacturing in the not too distant future.

I am the technical designer behind the level of sound quality that our speakers produce. I do the circuit design work engineering, and most of the technical research. I also do the layout work and cutting out of the speaker cabinet panels.

One of my partners, Dan, a musician, does the cosmetic design and art work, cabinet design as well as technical research. He is involved with the speaker cabinet construction with his brother Ken.

It has truly been a team effort in developing the sound quality that we have today.

The final testing is not done with sophisticated electronic test equipment, but with our highly experienced ears.

I am a jack of all trades who wears many hats.

Unique traits: Always thinking outside the box and looking for ways to venture where no one else has gone before.
