MR. OBSESSION
By Theodore Rider

GENRE: Drama
LOGLINE: "Out of his element but seduced by the easy money and attention brought on by his job, an introverted and puritanical young man turned exotic dancer must recognize what he’s become before life passes him by."

SYNOPSIS:

A mild mannered suburbanite, Kenny Knight, becomes increasingly oblivious to the only positive influence in his life as he’s drawn further into the questionable and unfamiliar lifestyle brought on by his new job as an exotic dancer. Searching for happiness but surrounded by the questionable values being introduced from his job, he finds himself torn between the normality of his moral girlfriend, Sarah, and the seductive immorality of another. Realizing what he had only after it’s gone, he finally recognizes what it truly means to love someone, and finds contentment. Impelled to ameliorate his self-destructive routine, Kenny’s newfound perspective on love gives him a different outlook on morality until he’s worn-down by a chemically imbalanced and manipulative seductress, Ava Able. Now, permanently tied to Ava through their new son, Cleo, he finds himself discouraged in his hope to find a meaningful relationship, but indomitable in his ambition for a better life. After suffering the loss of three friends, and tragically, his son, he becomes empowered with their strongest virtues, intensifying the growth of his progressively maturing character. While mourning the loss of his loved ones, Kenny finds himself again stuck in Ava’s web of deceitful adulation with the conception of their twin sons (Luke and Evan). Just fourteen months after their birth, a crazed Ava uses the young boys as pawns in a reckless stunt. The family scenario comes to a sudden and permanent halt when Kenny finally leaves her. Finding himself homeless but determined, he adopts a plan from a lost friend, Laura Slade, that will ensure a secure future for he and his sons. But the ante on deceit and betrayal will soon be raised after he meets his third love interest, Melissa Vanderhegan. With his values improving but his muscular body fading, the seemingly genuine love of his new fiancé (Melissa) will be tested. And it will fail. Now, with his world beginning to crumble around him, Kenny must rely on determination powered by the responsibility he has for his sons in order to succeed in finally achieving his long sought after happiness. BIO: My name is Theodore Rider. Several years ago, I started writing memoirs while working as a male dancer for Detroit's leading strip-o-gram service (Erotic Image), and a male strip club/bar in Windsor (Danny‘s). It is the stories that so many consistently and enthusiastically asked me about, as well as the drama packed life I lived during my career as a full nude stripper (all well documented), that compelled me to rewrite my memoirs into twelve, sixty page teleplays that I call, "Mr. Obsession". Please let me know if you would be interested in reading the first season of Mr. Obsession. Thank you so much for your consideration. Yours very truly, Theodore Rider knightindustries2000@comcast.net PM, Theodore Rider on Facebook

A good logline includes three basic elements: 1. A very quick sense of who the main character is 2. The Catalyst that sets the story in motion (their big “uh oh”) 3. The nature of the challenge they now must face, and its huge difficulty specifically
