Susanna Della Sala

After a degree in Interior Design at Politecnico of Milan, she started working as a filmaker
of experimental and independent projects. Graduated at the Italian national film school Centro Sperimentale
di Cinematografia of Rome, she gained a lot of experience working in international productions such as Wonder
Woman by Patty Jenkins, Netflix series Medici, Masters of Florence, Netflix’s film Murder Mystery and will soon
be working in the art department of the feature film by Giuseppe Tornatore (Cinema Paradiso, The Legend of 900)
Her first short film The Fish Doctor premiered at the festival Afrodite Shorts, founded by Serena Dandini to promote
women in film. The short is now showing at the Lady Filmmakers Festival in Beverly Hills September 2019.
She collaborated with the company COORPI based in Turin winning the production prize with the dance spot C’est
Moi. COORPI produced her latest dance shortfilm Waste Planet which explores the theme of outcasts through dance.

She’s now working on her first feature documentary Last Stop Before Chocolate Mountain produced by Tao Ruspoli and Lily Johnson and her first narrative film Neolovismo, a neorealist project where she stars and codirects with american filmaker Mike Bruce.
