About A.D.

A.D. Scott is an award-winning actor, director, and filmmaker based in the DFW area. Born and raised in the Westbank of New Orleans, A.D. moved to the Dallas metroplex in 2002 and got his start in a touring gospel comedy stage play titled "Mama Nem's House". Since then, he has performed professionally in his share of theatre and TV/film projects, he's been in multiple commercial TV campaigns, and even earned a few achievements along the way, like a Telly Award in 2016 with Women in Film Dallas. He has recently starred in newly-released projects such as "My True Crime Story" and "A True Christmas", in which he also co-directed.
A.D. made his directorial debut in 2017 on an indie episodic, and has since been regarded as a unique visionary, with his eyes set on producing films of his own. He has a substantial amount of projects releasing in 2023 that will feature him in front and behind the camera. He can be seen in TV series' and films on platforms like VH1, Peacock, Amazon Prime, Tubi, Red Box, and Pure Flix.
A.D. is a passionate filmmaker that's dedicated to the craft, and strives to play his part in creating and building a new wave of TV/film productions in the DFW market.
