About Emily

Emily Beck is 18 years old and has been performing since age 3. Many of her performances have been with Brunswick ACT: "The Secret Garden", "A Christmas Carol", "Guys N Dolls", "The Hollow", "Cheaper by the Dozen", etc. She also performed in "Noises Off!" at Brunswick HIgh School. She debuted on the Medina stage in CAMEO's world premiere of "MacBeth A Rock Opera" as Lady MacDuff. Emily attended the Cleveland Playhouse College through Playhouse Square and the Idea Center for the past two years as well as takes part in many of the master classes offered through Playhouse Square's Broadway tours. She has taken acting and dance classes at Tri-C this past year and is now enrolled at Baldwin Wallace University to continue her education and persue her degree in Early Childhood Education. In the fall of 2013 she made her debut at Baldwin Wallace University as Celia in "What She Found There" during the Bi-Annual Ten Minute Play Festival. During her spring semester she accepted a position at Cassidy theatre as a teaching artist for their youth programs and a position working in the costume shop at Baldwin Wallace University. Along with her job acceptance, she was cast as Roxanne in her first film work, "Date Night". This summer Emily has taken a job at Lake of the Woods and Greenwoods Camp where she will be working with children as a counselor as well as teaching to all campers through their theatre program
