Video of an epic fail marriage proposal goes viral and turns the unlucky in love Ray Webber into an Internet darling sought out by thousands of women.
SYNOPSIS:
Ray Webber races to the airport to propose to his on-again, off-again longtime girlfriend before she boards a plane to move away for good.
At the airport Ray’s heartfelt, but disastrous proposal turns into an epic fail that is captured on cellphone video by Langley Price, an unemployed marketing executive looking for a job.
Langley shares the rejected proposal video with a friend who posts it on YouTube. When the video goes viral, Langley’s friend convinces her that she needs to market Ray to all the women that now want to meet him by setting up his own “eRay” website.
Convinced this would show off her marketing skills in the viral age and help her land a job, Langley seeks out Ray and convinces him to go along with her plan to set up the “eRay” website.
Ray and Langley develop a connection as they construct the “eRay” website, but Langley doesn’t want to sabotage her marketing plan by falling for Ray herself.
The “eRay” social media hype builds until Ray is forced into a Bachelor style proposal to one of the women he meets from the website on live TV.
Langley’s marketing plan has worked to perfection, but at the expense of losing a good guy she really cares about.
Ray also has to decide if he gives the public what they want by proposing to his “eRay” match or give in to his own feelings for Langley.
