SYNOPSIS:

Winter. Dead of night. An unseen pod from a long distant galaxy crashes into the lake just outside of Frontier Junction. Millions of alien DNA particles are immediately unleashed into the lake in an attempt of a distant alien planet to establish a new home for its species. The alien DNA immediately infects anything that comes in contact with the water. Involved in a town tragedy several years before, Mark Hackwell returns from extended military service abroad just as the then unknown alien DNA infestation is taking hold. He is immediately thrust into the role of helping the sheriff investigate very terrifying incidents, which start with a traumatized girl claiming her boyfriend has turned into a monster. Mark and the sheriff discover the boyfriend's facial flesh... completely intact with smooth edges... but no boyfriend to be found. Disturbed, they seek the help of the town doctor to try and solved the mystery... which only deepens. Things quickly escalate when a mother and young daughter vanish without a trace. Mark also witnesses an unbelievable sight when he sees the traumatized girl who claimed her boyfriend turned into a monster actually morph into her boyfriend’s alien mutated body. Isolated and unsure what is happening, Mark, the sheriff, and the town doctor try to solve the mystery... but they are no match. The malicious alien DNA infects people, pets, insects, wildlife, and plants in horrific and terrifying ways. Even the long dead are not immune as the alien DNA seeps into the graves and mixes with human DNA to regenerate the dead with a mixture of human and alien DNA. After the doctor is infected, Mark and the sheriff are left to battle the infestation with only a handful of townspeople. Unable to seek help from the outside world, they must do the best they can. Things go from very bad to much worse when the sheriff is infected, leaving Mark to lead the small band of townspeople. They face a multitude of horrific and terrifying situations, including… Bodies mutating into one another. The world’s creepiest and most terrifying kid. The most horrific deer, dog, insects, and wildlife ever seen. Living detached facial flesh. Liquefied living infected bodies. Alien DNA infected dead regenerated. People being morphed into flora, fauna, and objects. Alien DNA is overtaking the entire region in an attempt to establish a new alien home. Unknown to all, things are about to get much more horrific and terrifying... more so than anyone could ever imagine.
