The eldest son of a large family risks destroying his family when he invites his estranged half-sister to celebrate Christmas with the family.

SYNOPSIS:

At the request of his father, the oldest brother of a large family invites the half-sister he barely knows to celebrate Christmas with the entire family because he wants to heal the family and help his father overcome the guilt he has felt since he and his deceased wife abandoned the half-sister thirty years earlier.

The youngest sister in the family refuses to participate because she's afraid allowing the half-sister to re-enter their lives will resurrect a long-buried family secret that could devastate her father and quite possibly destroy the family.

Their father's heart attack forces them all to deal with the secret and each other. They learn to know—and forgive—one another as they are, and the family as it is. They gather to celebrate Christmas together—as a family.
