A New York native, Richard is the author of several spec screenplays, with a particular focus on the fantasy, science-fiction and horror genres. In recent years, Richard's screenplays have gained recognition in several writing contests. Having won or placed as a finalist in such competitions as Creative World, StoryPros, CineStory, Writers on the Storm and the Austin Film Festival.
Upon relocating to North Carolina, Richard landed supporting roles in local independent productions such as Walk Through The Valley (2015) and Where We're Meant To Be (2016). This was followed by a co-writing effort in the independent feature, Harker: The Awakening (2017).
