During her thirteen years as a professionally trained ballet dancer, Jennifer learned how to direct performing artists thanks to legendary ballet coach Maggie Black. While majoring in Dance at Marymount Manhattan College, she decided to explore the business side of entertainment. After working at Henderson/Hogan Talent Agency and CESD, Jennifer's passion for the creative process and to work alongside directors and producers led her to casting.
From 2005 to 2011, she had the privilege to assist veteran casting directors Cindy Tolan, Bernard Telsey, Avy Kaufman, and Liz Lewis. Jennifer then collaborated with theatrical casting director Robin Carus under the banner of J&R creative, which cast 45+ film, commercial, theatrical, and voiceover projects. In January 2014, Jennifer opened her own office with a focus on film and television.
Some of her successes include casting Devin Druid (Louder Than Bombs, Louie, Olive Kitteridge) in his first lead role in J. Casey Modderno's film Disgrace, and finding Lee and Morty Kaufman from the famed Swiffer commercials.
