Brian Jeffery Bowers

As Assistant Director of Operations for the 48 Hour Film Project () I work with producers all over the world who are producing 48HFP events in their own city. Typical support includes help implementing screenings and networking events, outreach to local filmmakers and film groups, marketing in both the "traditional" sense along with social media management, troubleshooting, and more. I also hire new producers when those positions open up, and help grow the 48HFP by starting new competitions both domestically and internationally. I also produce the Cleveland leg of the 48HFP, 48HFP Horror Project, and other related competitions.

I have a diverse background in film, theatre, and marketing that includes studying in the BA Theatre program of Baldwin-Wallace College and the BS Entertainment Business program at Full Sail University. I previously owned and operated a photography & media production studio, worked as an agent for a Cleveland commercial & modeling agency, and marketing for a local theatre/cultural arts center. I continue to work freelance as a media & marketing consultant, graphic designer, and content creator. Also the founder and Festival Director of Cleveland ScreamFest, a horror film festival that will take place in Cleveland October 1st-3rd, 2021.
