About Katie

I am a self-published writer of contemporary fantasy and a hobby photographer. You can find some of my photos on my profile here. Additionally, you can find my first book, "The Metatronic Chronicles: a Minor Inconvenience" available as a free download from Goodreads. The link is

As a volunteer with a local community theater group, I've had the opportunity to participate in several theatrical productions, including "Scrooge", "Bye Bye Birdie", "Beauty and the Beast" and have most recently been cast as "Sister Berthe" in "The Sound of Music", which, unfortunately has been shelved for now because of COVID-19. I am also the researcher for the local community theater historic ghost walk, presented every October. Earlier in my life, I was part of a two year touring production called "Images of Labor in American Musical Theater", featuring music from pro-labor musicals, mostly by Marc Blitzstein.

I have also been a ghost investigator since around 2005, and have iinvestigated many sites in both Wisconsin and Arizona. And yes, I have seen a ghost. More than one.

Unique traits: Have been a paranormal investigator for the last ten years. Have an interest in photography, art and anything unusual. Also toured off and on for two years (statewide in Wisconsin) as a chorus member with "Images of Labor in the American Theater", presenting music from stage works that had labor or labor issues as a central theme. I also appeared briefly in a film called "Brothers", directed by Troy Perkins and have enjoyed taking drama/acting courses and workshops over the years.
