Madeleine Vessel is a contract professional writer doing business in New Mexico since 1995 as Wildcat Enterprises.
She writes both non-fiction and fiction.
As a non-fiction writer, she specializes in technical and professional articles, reports, and proposals. She also writes institutional histories. Her first published institutional history was Doña Ana County Historical Society 1963-1994. Currently, she is researching and writing the history of the College of Engineering at New Mexico State University, 1985-2009.

Currently, she has two screenplays in progress, one a spy thriller set at the start of World War II, the other a contemporary comedic thriller set in New Mexico.
Madeleine also is an adjunct instructor in the English Department at New Mexico State University (NMSU) since 1999 where she teaches technical and professional communication. She also has taught feature writing in the Journalism Department at NMSU.
