I was born on August 30, 1987 in Orlando, Fl. For most of my life I resided in orange county which on the west side of the city.

As a kid it was nearly impossible to catch me at a moment when I didn’t have head phones glued to my ears with my music blaring bumping “102 jams” which is the local radio station and to be honest that’s probrably when my passion for music started to develop and as fan of the Orlando magic and my favorite player at the time being Shaquille O’neal the first cd I ever owned without question was his 1994 release of “Shaq Fu” from that time until about the 8th grade I was just a fan of music occasionally Freestyln with friends or memorizing verses from my favorite rappers. But it wasn’t until somebody heard me spitting a verse and thought it was me that I actually considered making a song at the time I didn’t have access to instrumentals but that didn’t stop me as I made my first attempt at writing a verse it took some time more or less the whole night but I was able to do it I remember it being about females and I don’t think my mom liked it to much because when I came back from school later on that day it magically disappeared that’s really when I became motivated and after that I just started keeping everything I did to myself maybe because I was still trying to hone my craft or because I was afraid of told I wasn’t good enough. That following year I made a transition to the DMV to live with my dad in Va where I finished out my high school years. At around 18 me and a few friends created a rap group entitled “Tha Darksid3” that’s also when I created my rap name and since Mo has always been my nickname I just decided to add a $ sing to it and turn it into Mo$ and that’s what I’ve been running with ever since. In 2008 my dad took interest in what me and the group were doing and in turn decided to create a Record Label entitled “Doe Boy Records” we even got a promoter which led to us being able to open up for Tego Calderon in Rockville, Md. And opportunities to perform at local establishments around the DMV such as Fast Eddies in Alexandria. My vision after seeing the way people opened up to us on stage is to become the biggest name in music I’ve been doing this since the 8th grade and don’t plan on stopping and as long as there’s breath in my lungs my aspirations will embody my hunger for success.
