Their parents Lia and Guy were babies with a baby when they married, living with Nonna and no real means of supporting a family.

Three children later things did not change much, actually they got worse.

Nonna, tried to bring stability and laughter to the dysfunctional home but Guy still couldn’t hold a job.

When Lia gets pregnant again, he swallows his pride and ask for help from his brother Louie.

Mr. Pandolfi, Frank’s manager and an old friend of his father, takes him under his wing and directs to a better life.
