About Devesh

Devesh Sodha is a born and raised Leicester composer. He has been composing for over 9 year and has composed in a wide a variety of genres including Orchestral, Trip-Hop, Indian Classical, Bollywood, R&B, Pop, EDM, Trailer, Metal, Synthwave and Musicals.

Devesh has worked with many companies such as Nike, Forbes, Quarter 4 Sports, EMI, Really Slow Motion and Twisted Jukebox just to name a few. He has had his music featured in adverts such as Star Trek Discovery, Far Cry Primal, The Curse Of La Llorona and Allied. As well as this, he has had his music used in popular shows such as Myth Busters and Team Seal.

As well as creating content for big companies, Devesh has also supported local companies and school such as Nupur Arts Dance Academy where he was the musical director for their shows and composed and produced In The Land Of Fairypur (2013), which was performed and supported by Curve Theatre. He also composed music for their Diwali special Colours Of Radiance (2016) where he worked closely with renowned choreographer Sonia Sabri to create something unique for people to see and hear.
Devesh has also worked closely with Phizzical Productions on a number of shows including Cymbeline (2011) and Bring On The Bollywood (2016/2017), which toured around the UK and had an international album release. Phizzical also supported Devesh with his own show, Chaplin's Raj. This was a concert where Devesh took the works of Charlie Chaplin and Raj Kapoor and rescored the the music with a live 62 piece orchestra.

He also worked on Mad About The Boy which won Best Music - Music Video at the Queen Palm Film Festival Festival April 2019.
Devesh was also one of 4 finalists in the Cameron Macintosh Composer Scheme 2017

Devesh scored his first feature film Outlawed (2018) which was an action packed film based in Nottingham. The film had an international distribution as well as being entered into many film festivals and being nominated for multiple categories including Best Score Feature at the Hollywood Dreamz Film Festival 2018.
