Jimmy's first professional gigs were in the '70s, hit the road with original comic musical reviews in the 80s, and the 90s begin with Jimmy, in collaboration with Bonnie Shadrake, Kurt O. McClellan, and Any Binns-Calvey (aka "Relative Obscurity) headlining at The Improv, The Green Mill, Fitzgerald's, and everywhere you could lug & plug in a keyboard.
By the turn of the century, Jimmy Binns is leading the $4.5 million capital campaign to build The Nobel Fool Theatre Company (first arts not for profit dedicated to elevating the Art of Comedy) and serving as it's founding Artistic Director. Mayor Richard J. and Maggie Daiey joined Jimmy & Company at the ribbon cutting. Some 22 original comedies were produced at the Nobel Foil Theatre's Mainstage, Studio, and Cabaret, employing I've 80 full time artists,year round.
Today Jimmy continues to perform direct,design, and write. An Artist who sees something new in every moment.
