I received my B.A. in Communications from Elon University in 2004. In 2008 I received my M.F.A. in Film and Television from the Savannah College of Art and Design. During my time at SCAD I produced a number of films including The Bottom, which was an official selection at the Sarasota Film Festival and the Rhode Island International Film Festival - among others. In addition, I produced the Savannah College of Art and Design’s 2007 entry for the Coca-Cola Refreshing Filmmaker’s Award and was named one of MTVu’s Top 25 Filmmakers on Campus. In 2008 I co-wrote and directed Le Paradis de l’Imbecile, a short film that screened at over 30 festivals in the U.S. and Canada. In 2010 I began working with UNC Greensboro's Division of Continual Learning where I lead a team of filmmakers in the creation of multimedia content for the university's online courses and marketing projects. I also co-founded Down Fenix Media, a multimedia production company based in the North Carolina's Piedmont Triad.
