Rachael Magnus Beardmore

I am an aspiring filmmaker whose recently received a first class film degree at the university of central Lancashire. Between my work I freelance films helping where I can in most fields of film making. I am mainly recruited by others in such roles as producing, production managing and first assistant directing, as I enjoy the workflow that relates to each, and believe my calling is to be right in the middle of a fully flowing production. I am also determined to get the best results in anything I do and have have great social/communication skills.

Even with my ties working in management, I do dabble in the art department mainly costume and special effects makeup. Being an amateur artist helps me in my profession, seeing things others may overlook and attention to detail is one of my strong suits.

I thoroughly enjoy doing what I do and hope to expand my horizons and hopefully get to travel the world working in the profession of film making. Already I have worked with some great companies, such as ITV and BBC, and worked on various feature length films.

However, between university and freelancing I do like to relax once in a while. Whether that be drawing/illustration, horse riding or catching up on the latest blockbuster/favorite television series.

I have learnt a lot over the years but feel there is much more to learn and I am determined to make a name for myself in the world of film and television...
