Iain Harvey

Iain Harvey spent the first years of his career in publishing, during which he formed and managed Snowman Enterprises and executive produced THE SNOWMAN (1982). He went on to executive produce the feature WHEN THE WIND BLOWS (1987), the TV series SPIDER! (1991) for the BBC, and the animated specials FATHER CHRISTMAS (1991) and PRINCE CINDERS (1993). Iain then formed The Illuminated Film Company producing its first series, THE VERY HUNGRY CATERPILLAR & OTHER STORIES in 1993.

Illuminated's next productions were T.R.A.N.S.I.T (1997), the feature CHRISTMAS CAROL – THE MOVIE (2001), and in the same year, the animated special WAR GAME based on the true events of Christmas Day, 1914. Having completed three series of the pre-school series LITTLE PRINCESS, Iain has recently finished producing animated special ON ANGEL WINGS (2014) for the BBC based on the book by Michael Morpurgo. Iain is now currently in development on a number of new projects.
