I live in San Francisco and work in education. I have written six feature length screenplays, three of which are animation.
I created the first ever screenplay workshop at Open Studio, at the Walt Disney Family Museum, where I volunteer.
We used twelve of my scenes, from my feature length animated screenplay, to show how to write a scene with a particular emotion. I made an outline sample, to show how to write an outline of their own. I expressed the importance of showing, opposed to telling, when writing a story.
Also during Open Studio, I explain the process of creating Stop Motion Animation, sometimes using a Zoetrope, during concept art, I explain how the color effects the mood of the scene and I explain the process of cell drawing and storyboard sequence.
I enjoy tennis and Yoga.
