PERFECT HARMONY
By Andy Wright

GENRE: Comedy, Thriller
LOGLINE: A group of housemates struggle to preserve their trust in each other AND their jet-set lifestyle when a series of murders occur at their ideal home.

SYNOPSIS:

A darkly amusing Tim Burton-stylised 'whodunit' thriller/warped romantic comedy, ‘Perfect Harmony’ follows Robin Moss, who’s life couldn’t be more perfect: Her rich boyfriend Sebastian has agreed to buy a new house with her; cementing her hopes and dreams... Within months, their relationship deteriorates, especially when Robin catches Sebastian cheating on her at their house-warming party. Consoled by her hipster friends Susan and Melina, as well as Robin’s doting ex-boyfriend Jonas, Robin knows that no amount of emotional support will maintain her standard of living. With Sebastian gone and desperate not to lose the house, Robin rents to Melina, Susan and her boyfriend Edgar. Still short of money, Robin rents the final room to a friend of Melina’s – Lounge lizard Amon Narvik. Throwing a celebratory house-party, Robin foolishly invites Sebastian, with hopes of rekindling their relationship. Sebastian attends with his new girlfriend Emilia. After a disastrous alcohol and emotions-fuelled night, the house mates awake to find a body on the living room floor: Sebastian. Making a pact to preserve their perfect harmony (and avoid any implication with Sebastian’s murder), the house mates agree to sweep matters under the carpet. But the bodies keep piling up, and the cracks begin to show in their friendship. Emilia hires private eye Iris Frost to uncover the truth – but will there be anyone left to tell the story?
