Two very different couples are safely falling out of love. Silence or words, actions or thoughts: all matters when nothing more matters.

SYNOPSIS:

Ann and Matt are a working class couple whose love drowned in violence, resentment and alcohol. Their neighbours are the refined uppity Andy and Cecilia: they also stopped loving each other, but out of education they managed to float till tonight.

When Ann and Cecilia see each other at the window, both understand that their lives are in shambles. Ann takes a proactive approach and leaves her abusive and always drunk husband Matt, hoping for a better life. Cecilia fights against reality, but is defeated by Andy who leaves her, laying down all her guilts and misbehaviours.

In the end, everyone is free, a little lonelier.
