Benjamin D Cooper

Benjamin D Cooper is a filmmaker and lens based artist based in London. He undertakes private and commercial filmmaking and photography commissions whilst continuing to pursue his own film and photographic practice. 

Amongst others his clients have included HSBC, Aura Design, CVChannel, Strictly Dumb Prancing and Face Front Inclusive Theatre.



Benjamin has studied at two of the UK's most highly respected universities, Goldsmiths University, London (MFA) and Central Saint Martins, London (BA).



He continues to maintain and develop a critical understanding of film, video, photography and cinema, whilst remaining passionate and devoted to exploring and expanding our notions of narrative and cinema by creating psychological, emotive, cinematic and unexpected films and images.



His personal film and photographic works have been screened and exhibited at galleries and festivals such as Portobello Film Festival (London), Parasol Unit (London), Lumens International Film Festival (Leeds), Durham Beyond Film Festival (Durham) and Artsway (Southampton).
