About Dave

Born and raised in Calgary, Dave graduated from the University of Lethbridge with a bachelor's degree in finance. He's worked in banking, wealth management, and transitioned into the oil and gas industry in 2001. Dave's driven all over Canada, the United States, and Mexico, and has travelled western Europe, Japan, Honduras, Bahamas, and the French Polynesia. Now married with two lovely daughters, he fills his free time with camping and travel, screenwriting, and various acting roles.

In the summer of 2011 on a family camping trip through British Columbia, the song "Seven Spanish Angels" (Ray Charles & Willie Nelson) inspired Dave to write his first screenplay, "Once Upon A Time In Texas". From there, he enrolled in a number of writing classes and programs over the years and mentored under the late Bill Boyle (2015 - 2017).
