SYNOPSIS:

The Pilot: Edgy and charismatic Cannon Walker is notorious for his unruly youth events and unconventional recruitment tactics, which are popular among the youth, but often cause havoc in the community. Sometimes even the police have to get involved. Cannon competes with his arch-rival Prentice for a promotion by creating an impromptu youth beach trip. With a record number of youth participating, Cannon appears to have won the battle. But before he can celebrate, things take a turn for the worse. Cannon carelessly leaves one of the teenagers Nicole out on a sandbar, where she goes missing. Instead of handing him a promotion, Cannon’s boss puts him on leave. Cannon feels terrible and slips into a deep depression. He can’t seem to pull himself out until finally his best friend drags him to a rave. In the haze of the dancing lights, thumping music, and drug-induced environment--Cannon emerges from his depression with a new type of worship service: Saturday Night RAVivals, which will force him out on his own and turn this conservative Southern community on its head. As he prepares for his first RAVival, a connection to his seedy past conveys to him that Nicole may actually be alive.
