SYNOPSIS:

Jeff Roberts is the sole surviving family member of the missing "Iowa 5", who leads a team of marines and a crew backed by a film studio, to find proof of existence of Bigfoot. Vera Media's team consists of Camera operators Brittany Gabbert and Samir Singh, along with their Sudanese tracker; Salah Abbdullah. The team's director, Patrick Stoner, leads them blindly and unprepared towards the creatures of Routt National Forest. Vera's president, Jane Alexander introduces everyone before their journey from California to Colorado. The team ventures along the same route as the "Iowa 5", even coming across the remains of their destroyed 4Runner.the crew immediately have encounters along the way to their campsite and film the mysterious events. A paranormal attack leaves one marine ready to wage war with the creatures, which set off events that soon lead to crew members disappearing in the remote wilderness. Soon the crew discover that Patrick is hiding more than he reveals about the film, and cares more about capturing evidence than his crew's survival. As more of the crew disappears, the remaining crew try to escape, only to be left without an escape, twenty miles from the nearest road. In a final act to seal the outside world away from the creatures, one marine closes a large cave with C-4, only to cause an avalanche, and anger the creatures. Jeff tries keeping the crew together as they slowly fall apart and Patrick reveals having a satellite phone. His call reaches Vera, only to be left alone without rescue. As Jeff leads a team for escape, Patrick shows his true colors and leaves the team after leaving them helpless and surrounded by unseen creatures.
