SYNOPSIS:
The time of the Amazons is ending and the treasure of the New World is being plundered by conquistadors and El Drako, the English privateer. The Spanish princess is childless; the Amazons need to preserve their line. Princess Ariana and Drina -- the warrior queen -- strike a deal. Eldora, the Amazonian princess, will provide a son for the Spanish prince; an heir to the Old and New Worlds. Princess Ariana sets sail for Spain with the pregnant Princess Eldora. The baby is born in the Atlantic and Eldora is thrown overboard. To protect the secret of the prince’s birth mother, the Spanish prince orders the murder of the whole tribe. Drina (Dee) is the only Amazon to escape. Drina returns to her son and his family. It takes time for her to be accepted by her family and the villagers. Her reputation as a warrior makes her dangerous, but she wins the villagers over when she helps defend their village against El Drako and the conquistadors. The Spanish Prince and Princess return to Malaga where Prince Delmar grows up. He spends time with Silius, the inventor, who creates guns, fireworks, and hot houses on ships. The Spanish are at war with the English. In England, Queen Elizabeth is building a cannon and granting privateer licensees. To protect the bullion ship from the New World, Prince Delmar sets out in his new galleon to escort the bullion ship to Malaga. On the horizon, they see Malaga burning. The English have attacked the city and the Spanish King has set fire to the English ships in the harbour. Prince Delmar watches from the galleon as the city burns. Delmar sets sail for the New World and the Spanish colonies. After running out of supplies in the Atlantic, they drift, near death, into the harbor in the New World. The Governor rescues them, but Delmar is kidnapped by Drina who reveals to him his birth right; the son of an Amazonian warrior princess and the heir to the New and Old Worlds.
